Together we voted to stop nuclear power in WA! During the 2025 Federal election campaign under the Liberal National Coalition were pushing for nuclear power at Collie and at 6 other sites across Australia where there are coal power sites due to be closed. Australians made a huge and resounding vote against the coalition and nuclear.
While nuclear power is off the cards it’s not off the agenda with the Liberals, Nationals and One Nation continuing to push for nuclear power alongside more coal and gas and as the stand up campaigns against renewables. We know that nuclear is a distraction used to enable coal and gas and displace renewables.
