Nuclear Free WA currently has over 80 members includeing two organisational members. NFWA is made up of an active Commitee, members and supporters. We are currently a volunteer run organisation bringing together a diverse group of people from First Naitions communities, environmental, peace, union, health and faith groups who are dedicated to keeping WA nuclear free for the protection of our environment and public and workers health.
Meet our Committee
KA Garlick – Co-Convenor and Treasurer
KA has been dedicated to the nuclear free movement for decades she currently works with Social Justice Reinvestment WA and is active with Unionists for Palestine.
Liam Lily – Co-Convenor
Liam Lily is the Research Coordinator at the Conservation Council of WA and has a long history of campaigning for a nuclear free future. He is also actively involved in campaigning against fossil fuels and for greater climate action and nature protection.
Mia Pepper – Secretary
Mia has spent 12 years in WA working on nuclear issues, she is currently the Campaigns Director at the Conservation Council of WA and Deputy Chair of the Mineral Policy Institute.
Katharina Wolf – Committee Member
Katharina is an Associate Professor in the School of Management and Marketing at Curtin university. She has researched anti nuclear movements and been an active part of the movement and brings incredible communications expertise to the committee.
Public Fund Management Committee
The Public Fund Management Committee is responsible for overseeing incoming donations to Nuclear Free WA. On the Committee is Phoebe Corke, Rob Guthrie and KA Garlick.
